The monkey

  1.  If you had three wishes, what would they be?  Why?  (No wishing for more wishes.)  Explain each response.   First wish would be to go back in time. Why because I want to change some of my choices that I did that I didn't want them to happen.   Second wish would be to be rich why because I want to see how my life would change and how it feels.  My last wish would be to have the power to fly. Why because I think I would be cool and also I can get to places that I want faster instead of driving.
     2. Is there anything that you are superstitious about?  Explain.  (If not, explain why not.)
First of all I don't believe I those things but that would be awesome if they exist.

Antigone compare and contrast

In Antigone, by Sophocles Antigone and Creon they are two different persons who think differently, are different, but they both share similarities in this several ways.

Antigone doesn't care about creon's law she only cares about the god's law he cares about his own law. Antigone is loyal to her family by burying his brother polyneices. For example antigone says,” who fought as bravely and died as miserably"(I,18). She wants the help of ismene to bury him, but ismene refuses to give it to her. Ismene is afraid of what creon will do. Antigone is loyal to the gods because in scene I antigone tells ismene that she is going to break creon's law; in order to bury polyneices. Creon buried her brother eteocles because they won the battle and creon says, "eteocles who died as a man should die, fighting for his country, is to be buried with full military honors with all the ceremony"(I,34). Creon is not loyal to his family by the way he is not burying polyneices that he is part of his family to, instead he left polyneices as bird food. In scene 5 when teiresias tells him he has to bury polyneices and free antigone or he would pay "flesh of your own flesh" but creon doesn't listen. Antigone is more loyal to the god's and loyal to her family by this ways. As creon is not loyal to his family but he is to his state.

Antigone and creon they both are similar in the way they show their pride. Antigone was showing pride when she says,"creon is not strong enough to stand in my way"(I,36). She is showing pride to ismene by telling her that what ever creon does she is not going to stop. She also has pride when she says, "I do" "I deny nothing"(II,69). She goes to creon and she says I did it and I am proud of what I did. Also when the servants got her she didn't try to run away, is like she was saying take me. Creon is showing pride by the way he says,” As long as I am king no traitor is going to be honored with the loyal man"(I,50-51). He showed pride by saying because I am the king no traitor is going to have my respect. Another example that he also showed pride by saying to antigone you broke my laws and now you must pay with death. They both show similarities of pride by the way antigone went up to creon and creon by showing his power of what he can do.

Antigone and creon they both have the blame for the tragic outcome. Because antigone only wanted to bury his brother polyneices but it was against creon's law. Creon believes polyneices should be left out. Antigone told creon to kill her which he wanted, but instead he locked her in vault. Then when antigone got killed, creon pay her death by having his son haimon killed and also his wife eurydice. And now creon has to live with that curse forever.
